About This Site

This site began as a Yahoo Group in February 2001 and eventually took on the name ArlingtonMusicScene.com, later becoming MetroMusicScene.com. That Yahoo Group now has over 1,200 members and can be accessed here at this link. This blog, started in the fall of 2004, is the mainpage of the MetroMusicScene.com site and is where you'll find music news for the Washington, D.C. Metro Area.
